Predictions for Man United vs Chelsea Champions League Clash

It all comes down to this. Considering that Real Madrid are the sure favorites to go through tomorrow unless Tottenham Hotspur can create a miracle, only one Premier League club is guaranteed a spot in the Champions League semi-final. But will it be Manchester United or Chelsea?

After Manchester United’s 1-0 win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last week, the Red Devils have the advantage tonight at Old Trafford. But Chelsea are not down for the count yet. If the Blues can score an early goal, this will make it anyone’s game. In contrast, if Manchester United can get an early goal, then Chelsea will be forced to try to get two goals. And so the swing song begins.

Since there’s so much on the line, don’t be surprised if the match kicks off being very cagey in the beginning. For both clubs, the Champions League is the dream trophy to win this season – even bigger than the Premier League title. And neither side will want to lose. Man United is chasing the treble. Chelsea is fighting to win the only trophy in their midst, as well as fighting to save Carlo Ancelotti’s job.
