Famous BBC commentator John Motson walks through his memories of his favorite FA Cup Finals at Wembley Stadium.
During the four minute video, Motson discusses the 1981 FA Cup Final between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, and that goal by Ricardo Villa. Next, Motson tackles the 1987 FA Cup Final between Coventry City and Tottenham Hotspur, which featured a shock result on the day but interestingly, Motson pointed something out about the game that I never knew before.
Last but not least, Motson’s favorite FA Cup Final was the 1988 one between Liverpool and Wimbledon. Motson shares a story he had after a conversation with Wimbledon goalkeeper Dave Beasant earlier in the week before the cup final.
