Sevilla have rejected a £14.5 million bid from West Ham for striker Alvaro Negredo, according to Sky Sports.
Everton reportedly tried to sign Negredo on deadline day in the January transfer window, but the deal never materialized. Now the Hammers are trying to sign the highly-rated Spanish striker.
Whether West Ham will try to put in a higher bid for Negredo, we’ll have to wait and see. But with Jesus Navas leaving Sevilla, and Negredo possibly leaving too, plus with several other Premier League clubs trying to sign Spanish talent, this summer could see a tidal shift with more Spanish footballers heading to England.
