Timmy Chandler USMNT's World Cup Hopes Dealt a Blow Due to Injury: Daily Soccer Report

Timmy Chandler’s hopes of playing with the US Men’s National Team at this summer’s World Cup have been dealt a blow after picking up an injury that will rule him out of the rest of the Bundesliga season.

Chandler suffered a torn meniscus in February but hasn’t yet recovered from the injury. His head coach at Nuremberg says he won’t play again during the club season, and now faces a race against time to return to full fitness in time for the World Cup this June.
