West Ham Face £5m Payout If They Sack Under Pressure Manager Sam Allardyce: Nightly Soccer Report

West Ham United face a £5million payout if they decide to sack manager Sam Allardyce, reveals The Mirror.

While the amount may not seem like much to supporters of Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United or Liverpool, it’s a more significant fee for a club like West Ham United just to get rid of a manager and to replace him with one that may even be on higher wages than Allardyce.

There have been murmurs of Malky Mackay or Harry Redknapp stepping into Allardyce’s shoes, but based on West Ham United’s predicament of having no real striking threat and a central defense that has been virtually non-existent due to injuries (plus a captain with a penchant for getting sent off), you can’t really blame Allardyce for the situation that they find themselves in — second from bottom in the Premier League.

If West Ham United manage to slip into bottom place in the Premier League, then the alarm bells with be ringing at Upton Park. But until then, Allardyce will continue trying to get the most out of his squad. But if the time comes for a change to happen, the Hammers will have to fork out £5million.
