FOX Sports Confirms Talent For 'FOX Soccer Daily' Show to Debut on FOX Sports 1 Aug. 19

FOX Sports has confirmed their line-up of talent for their FOX Soccer Daily show, which will launch on FOX Sports 1 beginning August 19.

As previously revealed, Julie Stewart-Binks will be the host of the show. She will be joined on a regular basis by FOX Soccer analysts Eric Wynalda, Warren Barton and Brian McBride.

FOX Soccer Daily will be a 30-minute show at 4pm ET each weekday afternoon featuring news, highlights and analysis — except when it’s preempted by UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League coverage.

In addition to the trio of Wynalda-Barton-McBride, FOX Sports 1 will leverage the insight of Grant Wahl, former Sky Sports News anchor Georgie Thompson and Joe Machnik (for rules and coaching analysis).

Stewart-Binks worked as a reporter on FOX Soccer Report, and was an apprentice with SKY Sports News in England in 2010, assisting reporters covering English Premier League and UEFA Champions League competitions, while at the same time completing a Masters in International Broadcast Journalism at City University London.  She also interned at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s London bureau in 2010, assisting reporters in producing FIFA World Cup features.

FOX Soccer Daily will compete against ESPN FC, the new daily show from ESPN that launches on August 11.
