FA Accept Tottenham's Appeal Over Red Card Against Younes Kaboul

The FA has dismissed Tottenham Hotspur defender Younes Kaboul’s red card that he received in the match against Chelsea last weekend.

Following an independent regulatory commission hearing, the one-match suspension for Kaboul has been dropped. Kaboul was sent off in the game for denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity for Samuel Eto’o.

The news will be particularly welcoming for Tottenham Hotspur, manager Tim Sherwood and the club supporters, especially considering Tottenham’s match this weekend against Arsenal (Sunday, Noon ET on NBCSN for viewers in the United States).
