DirecTV Offers World Cup Extras in 2014

As is customary, DirecTV leads the way in providing soccer fans with the most amount of soccer content via TV screens nationwide. This World Cup will not be any different.

This summer, DirecTV will broadcast all 64 World Cup games in HD via a choice of ESPN, ESPN2, ABC, Univision, Univision Deportes, UniMás and Galavision. But the difference with DirecTV is that it’ll activate additional channels to give its subscribers even more World Cup coverage.

Here’s what they’ll be offering:

Channel 400 — You’ll be able to choose from five different angles of the field so you don’t miss any of the action.

Channel 402 — By pressing the red button on Channel 402, you can access Spanish language-only features such as instant team and player stats, as well as the tournament schedule.

Channel 600 — DIRECTV’s interactive channel 600 will be transformed into a space devoted entirely to Brazil 2014 where you can find information about the teams, players and get instant updates and results.

Channel 701 — Access the DirecTV World Cup Mix Channel, where you can choose from eight screens of coverage from multiple networks all in one place.
