Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is Out Until 2014 as Recovery is Taking Longer Than Expected: Daily Soccer Report

Arsenal’s injury problems have suffered another setback with the news that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is going to be out until 2014 as his recovery is taking longer than expected.

The knee injury that Oxlade-Chamberlain got on the Premier League opening day game against Aston Villa is taking longer to heal. He won’t be able to begin training until mid-December, which means he won’t be ready for action until January.

Oxlade-Chamberlain joins fellow Arsenal footballers Lukas Podolski, Theo Walcott and Yaya Sanogo who are also recovering from injury.
