Landon Donovan, 8– Continues his personal dominates against Mexico.

Clint Dempsey, 7– Nice work on both sides of the pitch. Not his best performances.

Sacha Kljestan, 6— Looked bright-eyed, still a joy to see his development alongside Michael Bradley in the midfield.

DaMarcus Beasley, 5– Strong first half. Still needs to improve his fitness.

Frankie Hejduk, 6— Helped his case over Cherundolo as who should be the starting right back for the national team.

Oguchi Onyewu, 6– Strong performance for the gifted defender.

Heath Pearce, 5– Continues to demonstrate he’s a liability in the backline.

Carlos Bocanegra, 4– Average and uninspiring. Still commits too many mistakes on the pitch.

Tim Howard, 7– Active night for the American goalkeeper who was fouled by Mexican defender Rafa Marquez.

Jozy Altidore, 6–Came in for Ching in the 83’. Despite limited action Altidore showed his future with the national team is now.

Ricardo Clark, 5– In for Kljestan in the 86’. Incomplete rating.
