Beginning at Noon ET/11am CT, watch a livestream of the press conference to officially announce Minnesota United as the latest team to be awarded a MLS franchise.
Minnesota United, who currently play in NASL, will become MLS team number 23.
MLS Commissioner Don Garber and Dr. McGuire, the owner of Minnesota United FC of the second-division North American Soccer League, will “make an important announcement on the future of soccer in Minnesota,” according to a league advisory. The event will be held at Target Field, home of Major League Baseball’s Minnesota Twins.
