The Premier League have revealed the top five “pass masters” of the 2013/14 Premier League season thus far.
Top of the table is Swansea City who have the highest passing accuracy as well as most total passes. The Swans got off to a rocky start this season with back-to-back losses against Manchester United and Tottenham, but they’ve since turned things around with wins against West Brom and Crystal Palace as well as a draw against Liverpool.
The other best passing teams are Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham. Noticeably absent from the list are Manchester United and Liverpool — two teams who were in the top five pass masters list last season. It makes you wonder how much of an impact the retirement of Paul Scholes may be having on the United side this season.
