In Malky Mackay’s pre-match press interview, the Cardiff City manager didn’t deny that he received an e-mail giving him an ultimatum to either resign or be sacked. Nor did he deny that today might be his last match as manager of Cardiff. It’s just one of the many riveting storylines going into today’s Premier League matches.

Let’s hope today’s matches give NBC’s broadcast of Match Of The Day on free-to-air television plenty of action to feature.
