Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Roman Abramovich asked him to be Chelsea manager when he bought the club in 2003.
In the interview with Charlie Rose, which was shown on PBS last night, Ferguson said:
“They used an agent to approach me when Abramovich first took over the club and I said: ‘No chance.'”
Ferguson added that he has no plans on returning to management, and that he says United are in good hands with Moyes now in charge.
