Thank you for contributing to World Soccer Talk's success

In 2013, more than 4.3 million unique people read this site.

We’re grateful to every one of you — the readers — who read the articles, post comments, interact with us on social media and who make World Soccer Talk a part of your daily routine.

Without you, it’d be impossible to do what we do. Your clicks and comments inspire us to continue pushing to produce the best quality content.

During the past 12 months, we’ve accomplished several major milestones including:

1. The launch of a series of soccer documentaries including a behind the scenes tour of NBC’s Premier League coverage, insight into the living history of Tampa Bay Rowdies, and new documentaries on the way about ESPN’s soccer coverage,

2. We launched three new shows — Press A To Shoot (focused on soccer video and computer games), This Week In Soccer and Voices Of Soccer. Watch for more episodes coming soon.

3. World Soccer Radio has joined the network featuring Nick Geber, formerly of FOX Soccer, streaming a live call-in show every weeknight at 9pm-10pm ET on WorldSoccerTalk.com.

4. World Soccer Talk is now a full-time job. From 2005-2013, World Soccer Talk was my small business that I put my blood, sweat and tears into on nights, lunch hours and weekends, but it’s now my full-time gig, which is a dream come true for me.

5. And last but not least, World Soccer Talk underwent a major rebrand earlier this summer when we consolidated seven sites into one, including EPL Talk, and rebranded the one site as World Soccer Talk. We hope that you’ve enjoyed the new experience.

One of the many differences with World Soccer Talk is that we’re hardcore soccer fans like you. We live, eat and breathe the Beautiful Game. Plus we’re one of the few, large independent soccer news websites that isn’t part of a large media company, so it frees us to write about any topic we like without being told not what to do.

From everyone at World Soccer Talk, we’d like to thank you for making 2013 our best year yet. And we look forward to serving you in 2014 with more quality content during what we predict will be the biggest year ever for the sport.
