Coventry City Supporters Protest Against Club Playing Its Home Matches 35 Miles Away [PHOTOS]

Coventry City supporters protested today during their FA Cup match to ask why the club plays its home matches 35 miles away from its former Ricoh Arena stadium.

At around the 32nd minute mark, the away contingent of Coventry City fans at the Emirates Stadium raised signs that proclaimed “Why?”

The banners were held up high for several minutes as Coventry supporters voiced their displeasure at the club continuing to play its home matches 35 miles away at Northampton Town’s ground.

The series of incidents that resulted in Coventry leaving its own stadium are complicated, but the bottom line is that Coventry fans are sick of not having a home stadium to call their own.
