Yallop Returning to San Jose

Kartik Krishnaiyer

Frank Yallop’s short troubled stint as manager of the Los Angeles Galaxy has ended according to SI.com. The website is reporting that Yallop agreed to return to the site of his greatest years as a manager in the Bay Area with the newly reformed Earthquakes franchise. This will end speculation that Dominic Kinnear, a longtime Bay Area resident and Yallop’s successor as the manger of the Quakes, now the Houston Dynamo will leave the franchise this year. Yallop had left the Earthquakes in 2004 to manage the Canadian National Team but left that post when the Galaxy job was open in July 2006.
