Seattle Sounders Wins MLS Cup in 'Football Manager' Simulation

The makers of the Football Manager computer game, from Sports Interactive and Sega Europe, have run the 2014 MLS Playoffs through its game to simulate who will be crowned 2014 MLS Cup champions.

According to the data, the 2014 MLS Cup champions will be Seattle Sounders, led by Clint Dempsey.

With one MLS Playoff game already completed (FC Dallas defeating Vancouver Whitecaps), here’s how the remaining MLS games for the 2014 season will play out according to Football Manager:

•  Obafemi Martins scored 2 goals in the playoffs for Seattle while Bradley Wright-Phillips topped the overall chart with 3 goals for New York

• The MVP in the final was Seattle’s Clint Dempsey

• The player with the highest average match rating for the duration of the Playoffs was D.C. United’s Bobby Boswell.
