Casillas Stops Eto'o- For Malaria

On Saturday, one of the biggest rivalries in the world was played.  One of the subplots of this drama came in with 20 minutes left and Iker Casillas denied Samuel Eto’o from scoring on a penalty kick.  A few minutes later, the Cameroonian got his revenge and opened the scoring on route to victory.

Three days later Iker got his revenge.

The big winner in this confrontation was the fight against malaria.

“Amigos de Iker vs. Amigo de Rafa”  was a charity event held at the Palacio de lo Deportes in Madrid on Tuesday.

The event consists of three events.  Karting, tennis, and, football.

The stars were in full force athletes from the international sports scene converged for the benefit. In addition to Eto’o Fernando Alonso,  Novak Djokovic, Alberto Contador, Atlético’s Sergio Agüero, Tommy Verdasco, and Carlos Sainz were among the invited.
