Season three of Ted Lasso finally has a release date. The latest installment, and what could be the final season, is back on Apple TV+ in just a month.
Apple announced that Ted Lasso is returning on March 15, 2023. While the entire season does not drop all at once, there will be 12 episodes in the third season. They release once a week, with the season three finale airing on May 31.
To commemorate the announcement, Apple revealed the teaser trailer for the show’s third stint.
While that trailer does not demonstrate too much of the content, we do know some of the details of season three just based on how the last season ended. So, spoilers ahead if you are yet to catch up on Ted Lasso, a hit show across the globe.
Season three of Ted Lasso
At the conclusion of season two, there were a number of major changes going on with the loveable characters in the show. Ted Lasso led AFC Richmond back to the Premier League. However, that did cost him one of his assistant coaches, Nate. The final scene of the previous season was Nate joining Rupert, the former owner of AFC Richmond, at West Ham. Nate will serve as the side’s manager, and one of the biggest rivals for Richmond in its return to the top flight.

It could be the last season of Ted Lasso. Showrunner and lead actor Jason Sudeikis said the original plan was for the show to be three seasons. Of course, there could be more. There is no confirmation that this is the last season, nor has Apple said it has plans for a season four.
Busy time for Apple
The debut of season three of Ted Lasso is not the only major thing happening early in 2023. While the show does have a worldwide following, Apple is set to embark on a new journey just before the third season launches.
