In what is turning out to be a spectacular 2015 for U.S. Women’s National Team’s Megan Rapinoe, the midfielder announced her engagement to longtime girlfriend, Sera Cahoone, on her official Instagram account.
After winning the 2015 Women’s World Cup in Canada last month, Rapinoe returned to Seattle, Washington with Cahoone who is an extremely talented singer-songwriter, the two have been together for several years.
Rapinoe currently plays for Seattle Reign FC in the NWSL and scored two goals for the USWNT on their way to winning the team’s third World Cup.
