CBS Sports are launching a brand-new daily soccer show on its Golazo Network. Entitled Box 2 Box, the show features analysts Ian Joy and Aaron West alongside host Poppy Miller. Regular contributors to the show include Guillem Balague, Felipe Cardenas, Jimmy Conrad and Anita Jones.
Joy is an expert on European soccer after working across FOX Sports, CBS Sports and beIN SPORTS in the past. The Scottish-American played for FC St Pauli and Portland Timbers, as well as several clubs in the United Kingdom. Well versed in world football, Joy is the ideal hire for the news-driven show that can double as pre-match coverage on days when there are major matches happening.
West loves European soccer, and has a varied career where he has been a producer and producer for several outlets such as FOX Sports, Copa 90 and Bleacher Report. More recently, he has appeared on CBS Sports’ Serie A coverage as well as traveling across Europe to film segments for CBS’s soccer coverage.
Miller is one of the best soccer presenters on US television. As the host of Calcio e Cappucino, CBS Sports’ Serie A studio show, she is the perfect person for the role as host of Box 2 Box.
