Arsenal Football Club took a massive step towards winning its first piece of silverware in 9 years with a victory against Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley Stadium in London.
The Gunners had to take the match to penalties after the match ended 1-1 in regulation, but after no goals were scored in the 30 minutes of extra time, Arsenal won the game with ease after dominating the penalty shoot-out.
