Luka Modric and Kevin De Bruyne have already made headlines with stunning moves to Serie A for the 2025–26 season, joining AC Milan and Napoli respectively. With legends making their way to Italy, a Juventus standout and Brazil national team teammate is now encouraging Neymar to follow suit.

After establishing themselves as icons in Spain and England, Modric and De Bruyne’s arrivals in Italy bring both experience and star power to a league that recently had Inter Milan reach a UEFA Champions League final. Riding this wave of veteran stars heading to Serie A, Neymar’s name has now been brought into the conversation by Gleison Bremer.

In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Brazilian center back was asked about a potential end-of-career move for Neymar, formerly of Barcelona and PSG. Bremer didn’t hold back. “Of course I would advise him to come here. It would be fantastic to have someone like Neymar at Juventus,” he said.

Bremer has become one of the league’s most reliable defenders since joining Juventus but struggled during the 2024–25 campaign after suffering an ACL injury early in the season. As Juventus enters a new era under head coach Igor Tudor, Bremer believes Neymar would be a perfect fit for both the club and the league.

Could Neymar follow in Cristiano Ronaldo’s footsteps?

There has been ongoing speculation in recent months about Neymar’s future at Santos, with some reports linking him to a return to France—this time with Olympique Marseille. With Santos dangerously close to the relegation zone, Neymar could consider a move to better prepare for the 2026 World Cup.

Cristiano Ronaldo made a similar move in 2018 when, at 33, he joined Juventus from Real Madrid in a record €117 million transfer after winning the Champions League. Neymar, now also 33, renewed his contract with Santos through the end of 2025 with an option to extend. Still, the possibility of another high-profile European return remains open.
