Bob Bradley Please Don't Forget.......

Here are some suggested players that have either been part of the US Senior National Team for many years or budding youngsters that Coach Bradley needs to look at one last time before writing off.

Wolff played for Bradley in Chicago for five seasons, and also has played for the US in two World Cups. At just 30, Wolff continues to be a viable option up front for the US especially given the ineptitude demonstrated by the current crop of attacking players this summer.

Gibbs is about recovered from the devastating ACL injury that made him a last minute scratch from Germany 2006. A left footed defender who is big enough to play centre back but also perhaps quick enough to play outside, Gibbs could really help a shaky back line if he is in fact fully recovered.

Eddie Lewis (D/Leeds United/ENG)
Leeds is a mess and Lewis is now 32. Nonetheless, Lewis handled his transition to left back by former National Team Coach Bruce Arena well and he started two games at Germany 2006. While 2010 isn’t a viable option for Lewis who will then be 36, he can certainly help qualification for 2010 in the next two years. Besides, as bad as Leeds has been Lewis was voted player of the year by a wide margin among the Elland Road faithful.

Macus Hahnemann (G/Reading/ENG)
Hahnemann is one if the best keepers in the EPL and can provide a steady influence as a back up to Tim Howard.

Brian West (M/ Fredrikstad/NOR)
West has never been a regular with the National Team but as a rare American who has excelled both in MLS and Europe, the 29 year old is owed another look.

Jeremiah White (M/ AGF Arhus/DEN)
White has never been capped at any level for the US, but as a player who has survived in Europe, he deserves a look.

Zak Whitbread (D/Milwall/ENG)
The former Liverpool youth player who actually did suit up for the Reds in the Carling Cup has fought injuries since arriving at Milwall last season. However, his contributions to the US U-20 campaign at the last FIFA World Youth Championship shouldnot be forgotten and when fully fit he deserves a call up.
