Jim Proudfoot always presents a balanced and informative commentary, generating excitement where it is applicable. Whether on TV or radio, I feel I’m at the game with Jim — he’s easily tops for me.

I voted for Martin Tyler because he is very neutral and doesn’t insult the intelligence of the viewer/listener. He also doesn’t try to create any controversy even when something controversial happens. The worst announcer in this regard is John Champion. He never stops talking about a controversial incident and sometimes tries to create one himself.
