Telemundo Deportes revealed its coverage for the 2023 SheBelieves Cup. NBCUniversal will have exclusive Spanish-language media rights to the upcoming tournament.

Therefore, Universo, Peacock Premium and the Telemundo app will co-broadcast all six matches of the competition. The games can also be found in English on HBO Max too.

Cantor anchors the Telemundo coverage of SheBelieves Cup

Commentary on the Spanish-language networks will be led by the same squad that worked the 2022 World Cup. Legendary soccer sportscaster Andres Cantor will lead the Telemundo team for the SheBelieves Cup.

Cantor, a six-time Emmy winner and Hall of Famer, will be joined by Manuel Sol. The former Mexico international has been with Telemundo since 2013 and has regularly featured alongside Cantor. Ana Jurka and Carlota Vizmanos will once again host the prematch, halftime, and postgame studio shows.

Along with coverage from the broadcast team, soccer fans can find additional content on Telemundo Deportes social media accounts. This includes their Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Part of this content includes exclusive interviews with Alex Morgan, Becky Sauerbrunn, Sofia Huerta and Ashley Sanchez.

No playoffs included in tournament

The SheBelieves Cup features four of the top teams in women’s soccer. Brazil, Canada, Japan and the USWNT face off in the round robin tournament. The team with the highest points after three games wins the SheBelieves Cup. Each team receives three points for a win, one for a draw, and zero for a defeat. Goal differential, head-to-head results and total goals factor in, as well.

The tournament starts on Feb. 16, when Japan faces Brazil at 4 p.m. ET. The United States Women’s national team play their first match against Canada on the same day at 7 p.m. ET.
