This Wednesday, July 23, the 2025 MLS All-Star Game will take place, pitting the best players from Major League Soccer against the top stars from Liga MX. While big names like James Rodríguez, Sergio Canales, Jordi Alba, and Lionel Messi are set to take the field, one major figure is noticeably absent: Luis Suárez, Inter Miami’s No. 9. So, why wasn’t he called up?
Despite being one of the most recognizable and accomplished strikers in MLS, the legendary Uruguayan forward was not selected to participate in this year’s All-Star Game.
