Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was furious after his team lost a 1-0 lead against Burnley to tie the match 1-1 in a controversial game where Burnley’s Ashley Barnes should have been red carded for a foul on Nemanja Matic.

Instead, Matic retaliated to Barnes’s foul and pushed the player over. Matic was sent off. Barnes didn’t even get a yellow card.

In the subsequent brawl, Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic was yellow-carded after he tried to stop referee Martin Atkinson from awarding the red card to Matic.

In his post-match interview, Mourinho was reluctant to open up about the four key incidents in the game that went against Chelsea, simply spouting minutes 30, 33, 43 and 69 in the match and encouraging the media to investigate the incidents.
