History Lesson
The Biancocelesti’s badge and symbol is the eagle, which was chosen by founding member Luigi Bigiarelli. This emblem represents the Roman Empire’s army once known as the Aquila. Roman legions would carry the symbol with them when going in to battle hence the additional knickname of Le Aquile or The Eagles.
The team does not yet have a shirt sponsor for the 2008-09 Serie A campaign
