Kingsley Coman has been officially unveiled as Al Nassr’s latest marquee signing ahead of the 2025-26 season, as the Saudi Pro League side looks to continue its push for dominance. With the contract finalized following full agreement with both Bayern Munich and the player, reports suggest Cristiano Ronaldo played a decisive role in bringing the French winger to Riyadh.
Ronaldo has already seen Al Nassr strengthen its roster with the arrivals of Joao Félix from Chelsea and Iñigo Martinez from Barcelona. Now, with another high-profile signing from a European powerhouse, the Portuguese star once again finds himself at the center of the club’s ambitious project.
According to German outlet Sport BILD, Cristiano Ronaldo strongly advocated for Kingsley Coman behind the scenes, praising his quality and making it clear he wanted him at the club. That push from the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is believed to have played a major influence in Coman’s decision to make the move to Saudi Arabia.
Coman leaves Bayern after winning 21 trophies with the German giants. Head coach Vincent Kompany addressed the departure. “When such a successful player leaves the club, it’s always emotional. We also have to understand his decision and what he wants. We have a lot of respect for what he’s done. From my point of view, the priority is the players who are here in the squad,” he said on Friday’s press conference.

Al Nassr reportedly agreed to a €30 million fee with Bayern for Coman, who signed a deal through June 2028. Now, with Ronaldo flanked by Sadio Mane, Felix, and Coman, the Saudi side has assembled a frontline designed to dominate both domestically and in continental competition.
