The UEFA Champions League semi-finals reach their climax this Wednesday as Arsenal and PSG lock horns at the Parc des Princes, with the world watching intently. The Gunners face a daunting task, needing to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg, while the Parisians aim to defend their slender lead and secure a coveted spot in the final on Saturday, May 31.

Luis Enrique’s journey to this stage hasn’t been a smooth ride. PSG scraped through the group stages and had to go down a difficult route to get to this point. Their convincing win against Brest provided a much-needed confidence boost, and their triumph over Liverpool at Anfield proved their mettle against top European opposition. Despite the challenges, they overcame Aston Villa in the quarter-finals and now have a Champions League trophy.

Arsenal Seek to overturn deficit, but can they?

The Londoners have enjoyed a strong season overall, but they fell short in their Premier League title chase against Liverpool. In the Round of 16, they dispatched PSV Eindhoven with solid performances, and they delivered a memorable moment by eliminating Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.

As runners-up in England, Arsenal, it is said, would be happy with whatever comes in the end. Can they now lift the UEFA Champions League crown? The trophy that they have never been able to reach so high. They want it.
