After being thrashed 7-1 by Germany earlier this week, Brazil went into the Third Place Final hoping for a victory to wipe away the pain of being obliterated by the Germans. However, the performance was just as weak, as Brazil crashed out of the tournament, losing 3-0 to the Netherlands.
