Andre Villas-Boas has thrown in the towel on any chance of signing Joao Moutinho. This has been a very frustrating week for Tottenham supporters who were hoping for 1-2 big signings before Saturday’s difficult clash against Newcastle United. A striker? Not yet. Another creative midfielder? Not happening. Maybe they’re just waiting for Luka Modric to be signed away?
