Manchester City have the advantage coming into this match after managing a 2-2 draw at the Parc des Princes last week.

The Citizens went ahead via Kevin De Bruyne’s goal in the 38th minute but Zlatan Ibrahimovic equalized three minutes later. Adrien Rabiot then put the hosts 2-1 up but City drew level soon after with Fernandinho the scorer.

The result means that any type of win or a goalless or 1-1 draw will be enough to see Manuel Pellegrini’s men to the semi-finals for the first time in their history.

Both sides had the ideal preparation for this game with City claiming a 2-1 win at home to West Brom while the French champions rested a number of key players in their 2-0 win over Guingamp.

Laurent Blanc’s side need to win or secure a score draw from 3-3 and above to secure outright qualification to the semis. A 2-2 draw after 90 minutes will take the game to extra time.
