Vinicius Jr.‘s departure from the field due to injury against FC Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final (3-2) had generated fear among his fans. In the end, the Brazilian international should not be out for a long time.

Vinicius Junior retired limping slightly during the Copa del Rey final that Real Madrid lost in the last minutes against Barcelona, by 3 to 2.

The Brazilian international does not seem to have any serious injury, according to AS. The Madrid media assure that Vini’s departure was only due to a slight muscle overload. This would only be caused by enormous fatigue, which would be quickly overcome with a good recovery.

Vinicius should hold what remains of the season with the Casa Blanca, unless a sanction is interposed.

Long suspension on the horizon?

Against Barça, Vinicius was expelled as soon as the game ended. He was even on the bench when he was shown the red card. In the minutes of the match, the central referee indicates that this was as a result of insults and threats against him.

This conduct could be severely sanctioned by the disciplinary committee, just two weeks away from the Clásico of LaLiga.
