Arsenal Midfielder Jack Wilshere Poised to Sign New Deal: The Daily EPL

One of the very few bright spots in Arsenal’s season thus far is about to sign a new contract at the London club. Jack Wilshere, who recently returned from injury but still isn’t 100%, is set to sign a contract, which will hopefully encourage other Arsenal employees to renew their contracts too — namely Theo Walcott and manager Arsene Wenger.

Meanwhile, Chelsea lost in the Club World Cup today to a solitary goal. But do England fans really care about that tournament anyway?
