At one of the world’s most famous sporting stadiums today, Liverpool Football Club played in front of a sold-out crowd of 95,000 at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) where practically every single supporter sang Liverpool’s famous anthem, “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”
With scarves held high and a sea of red shirts encircling the entire pitch, the stadium was drowned in a chorus of Liverpool’s anthem, which shows the unbelievable support the Reds get down under in Australia.
Melbourne Cricket Ground is the home of Australian Rules Football teams as well as Melbourne Cricket Club.
Liverpool played local team Melbourne Victory in the friendly match. The Reds won the game 2-0.
