The FIFA Club World Cup final will be an all-European clash, featuring the Champions League winners PSG and a determined Chelsea side looking to defy the odds.
Chelsea and PSG will face off in the Club World Cup final on Sunday, July 13 at MetLife Stadium in New York, after defeating Fluminense and Real Madrid in the semifinals, respectively.
This will be the first time the two clubs meet in a tournament final. In their eight previous encounters in the UEFA Champions League, the record is evenly matched: three wins for PSG, two for Chelsea, and three draws.
Chelsea comes into the final after an impressive run under manager Enzo Maresca, with victories over Benfica, Palmeiras, and Fluminense. PSG, under Luis Enrique, has stormed through the competition, eliminating Inter Miami, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid in dominant fashion.
