The 3-0 defeat to Arsenal last week in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals has shaken the dressing room of a Real Madrid team that is completing a rather inconsistent season.

Spirits are not as good as they would like, and the journalist of ‘El Chiringuito’ Edu Aguirre has revealed that in training last Friday there was an important clash between two heavyweights.

“It is one of the weeks with more tension in the Real Madrid dressing room. Since Wednesday the players feel that they have to pass, they feel that they are playing the season in a few days. I am told that in Friday’s training there was a strong pique between two players. As a result of the tension there is an important pique, a fight between Bellingham and Rüdiger,” began the informant.

He added that “it is something that usually happens in many soccer teams but that takes importance a few days before Real Madrid-Arsenal. In the scrimmage there is a bad entry, a half insult from one to another. In total, they face each other and they have to separate them.”

The journalist insisted that it was “a pique between Bellingham and Rüdiger product of the tension, which is solved very well, they tell me, that it does not go to greater, that they shake hands and that it stays in things that happen in a training but that determines the tension that there is in the players of Real Madrid”.
