The group stage of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 is nearing its conclusion, with several key results already in. Group C’s final standings were temporarily put on hold after the Boca Juniors vs. Auckland City match was delayed, leaving fans eager to see how the standings would ultimately shake out.

The match between Boca Juniors and Auckland City was halted in the 55th minute due to severe weather conditions. However, by the time play resumed, both teams’ fates in the tournament had already been sealed.

Second-place Bayern will take on Flamengo in the Round of 16. The Brazilian giants have already secured two wins against Chelsea and Espérance Tunis, and with their final group-stage match against Los Angeles FC still to come, Flamengo is locked into the top spot.

Meanwhile, group winners Benfica will have to wait to learn their Round of 16 opponent. The Portuguese club will face either Espérance Tunis or Chelsea, who both sit on 3 points. Chelsea enter the final group match as favorites, but in the Club World Cup, surprises are always possible.
