Numancia, like Real Madrid, ran away from the pack and are just one point away from returning to the first division.  The big battle for promotion is being fought between Málaga, Sporting, and Real Sociedad.   Málaga have a slight advantage with a one-point lead over Sporting and Sociedad.

On the opposite end of the spectrum there are 16 teams that are still not safe from relegation.   No team is condemned to Segunda B as of yet.  Every.  The top six teams in the Spanish Second division are safe.  Las Palmas and Sevilla B will be out of that problem with a win or draw this weekend.
