La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed this week that the Portuguese winger, who recently shone in a 4-0 win over Udinese with a goal and an assist, has made his stance crystal clear: “Regardless of who will be the sporting director and head coach, he wishes to remain.”
His recent upturn in form, paired with the tactical shift to a 3-4-3 under Sergio Conceicao, has given him more freedom and brought back his attacking joy. Exempt from heavy defensive duties, the 25-year-old winger looked rejuvenated in Udine.
