Well the Premier League may have blown everyone away on transfer deadline day, yet there was some important albeit less glamourous business taking place in the Championship.
Sides across the league were busy securing the deals they hope will add strength, depth and results to their side in the second half of the season.
Rather than high spending the January transfer window was dominated by loan deals for most clubs however there were a few interesting signings including Ben Davies (Derby) and Aaron McLean (Hull) who have made the step up from League One to the Championship.
