New photos of the United States away soccer shirt for the 2010 World Cup have been revealed featuring action shots of Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey.
Designed and manufactured by Nike, the USA World Cup away soccer uniform is navy blue in color with a white diagonal stripe across the shirt and red trim. In the photos above and below, we see the sock design for the first time and that is quite a unique design.
The USA World Cup away shirt is expected to be available this spring. The first game for the USA this World Cup will be on June 12th when they play England.

I like it. Furthermore, I would like it even more if the US would stick to a design and color scheme. Changing things as often as they do does not create a look that is instantly identifiable as belonging to the US teams. Look at most other national teams and you can instantly tell who they are by their kits. Sure, most of them make minor changes every few years but the colors and general style stay the same.
Italy, England, Brazil, Holland, etc. all have strongly symbolic jerseys. When you see a yellow jersey with blue shorts you know it’s Brazil. That certain shade of blue lets you know Italy is there. Come on US!! Give us a design that will stand the test of time and unify things.

Loved your pics. The white streak across the blue is a hit. I also liked reading this post at http://footballrumblings.com/2010/01/superbowl-sports-book-betting-review/

I like the navy blue shirt best just wish they would change the US soccer emblem to something more badass and not kiddy like what we have now. Put the bald eagle on it or a rattlesnake on it.

The blue kit are class, nice. Right, a tribute to the 1950 USMNT that beat England 1-0. The sash is class.
Just like the sash on River Plate or Peru’s kits. Classic style.

This is a kit that only a champion wears, so we might go to the final

Nice tribute to the 1950 team. US Hockey is playing in uniforms that pay tribute to the 1960 team that when undefeated and won Gold in the Olympics, they seem to be working good. 🙂
Hopefully, they will work the same for USMNT.
I want one.

I like it! I’m pretty sure it’s a take off of the jersey worn by the US in the 1950 World Cup when we beat England. This jersey is kind of a like an “F You” to England, which I’m all for 🙂

I like the 2nd and 3rd jerseys. Not a fan of the white. I agree with Dan Katz.

Who care about a red top? I don’t understand why some soccer fans push for a red top and insist on wearing red to USMNT games.

Sash kits looks absolutely elementary… the colors of this kit are great, but i absolutely hate the sash.

The sash makes them look like they’re competing for the Miss America Pageant… I don’t like that

it looks great. it seems a bit inspired by naval uniforms from Napoleonic times, the colors and the white stripe.
i like the socks too. it’ ll look great when you see them moving on the pitch.

I’m not a fan of weird socks. Simple navy blue or red socks would be better. Maybe a thick strip up top or midway through, but not like that monstrosity. Shirts are pretty decent. Big improvement over the gray we currently have. Navy is the right choice; it should be our HOME color and white or red should be away.

kinda would have like to have seen red instead of blue, the sash is a bit too long, but o/w pretty sharp. Nice mix of classic and modern.
