DishWorld, one of a few online streaming services available to soccer fans and cord cutters in the United States, has been rebranded as Sling International. But what does this mean for soccer fans and current customers?

The most important distinction is the difference between Sling International and Sling TV.

Sling International offers the same channels that DishWorld. The only difference is the new name. It’s the same price (for now). If you’re a current DishWorld customer, you’ll be prompted to upgrade your app to Sling International. Your DishWorld username and password will work on Sling International.

After upgrading from DishWorld to Sling International, you’ll notice that the design of the app has been upgraded to mirror that of Sling TV.

If you’re not a Sling International customer (yet), you can sign up for $10 per month which gives you live and on-demand access to beIN SPORTS, beIN SPORTS Espańol and One World Sports. That means you can watch the following exclusively: La Liga, Serie A, Ligue Un, New York Cosmos and others.

While Sling International is the same as DishWorld except for the rebranded name, how is it different than Sling TV?

Sling TV offers a ton of networks such as ESPN, ESPN2, TNT, TBS, AMC, UDN, Disney Channel, A&E, Adult Swim, EPIX movie channels and much more. For soccer fans, the only similarity with Sling International is that both Sling TV and Sling International offer beIN SPORTS.

The entry-level “Best of Live TV” package for Sling TV is $20 per month. You can go with their free 7-day trial to see how it works. Add-on packages can be added for different groups of channels for $5/month.
