The United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) will look to bounce back after their disappointing showing in the Concacaf Nations League Final Four. As part of their preparations for the Gold Cup, the USMNT will play two friendlies in June, facing Turkey and Switzerland. Head coach Mauricio Pochettino has already announced the roster.

Although it’s just a training camp with friendlies ahead of official competition, a few notable omissions from the squad caught fans off guard. Most absences, however, were for understandable reasons. Giovanni Reyna is currently with Borussia Dortmund preparing for the Club World Cup, and Ricardo Pepi is out with an injury.

One absence that raised concern was Christian Pulisic. The USMNT’s No. 10 had an inconsistent season with AC Milan, and he may not be available for the Gold Cup due to fitness concerns. Will he make it in time? Here’s the full list of players selected by Pochettino for the upcoming FIFA international window:

Pochettino’s USMNT call-ups

Goalkeepers: Matt Freese, Patrick Schulte, Zack Steffen, Matt Turner.
Defenders: Max Arfsten, Sergiño Dest, Alexander Freeman, DeJuan Jones, Mark McKenzie, Tim Ream, Chris Richards, Miles Robinson.
Midfielders: Tyler Adams, Sebastian Berhalter, Johnny Cardoso, Luca de la Torre, Diego Luna, Jack McGlynn, Malik Tillman, Sean Zawadzki.
Forwards: Brenden Aaronson, Patrick Agyemang, Folarin Balogun, Damion Downs, Quinn Sullivan, Brian White, Haji Wright.
