NBC Sports has teamed up with Topps to create several custom trading cards featuring Ted Lasso, Rebecca Lowe, Arlo White, Robbie Earle, Kyle Martino and Robbie Mustoe.
The limited edition cards will be available in pubs in select markets across the United States where soccer fans will receive “Season Starter Kits” including Topps cards for Arlo White, Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Earle, Kyle Martino, Robbie Mustoe and Ted Lasso. The “Season Starter Kits” also include select cards from Topps’ 2013 Premier League set featuring a special selection of Premier League stars.
With the success of the Panini World Cup soccer stickers in the United States, NBC’s decision to work with Topps to create these custom cards is another smart marketing move. Maybe Topps will decide to release its 2014/15 Premier League soccer sticker collection for sale in the United States?
