Social media platform Snapchat have introduced a host of new features and user experiences to engage audience for the World Cup in Qatar. Users can now enjoy highlights, try to their favorite national team jerseys, watch behind the scenes content on Snapchat Discover.
Snapchatters can also overlay their favorite team’s colors and badge on their faces while the app also features lenses that displays virtual scores and stats that are updated in real time.

In addition, Snap Map will feature stories to feature fans who are glued to the action in Qatar. Partnership with Adidas
The social media app has also partnered with Adidas to let users personalize their experience by virtually dressing their Bitmoji in official jerseys, stickers and filter to show their support for their beloved team.
Official kits of the USA, France, Belgium, Saudi Arabia and Qatar have been made available. Moreover, the Cameos feature will allow users to look like as if they are in action on the field.
The Live Football Kit Lenses features the social media platform’s cutting edge Augmented Reality ML that enables users to display their fandom, making the experience lose to reality.
The new Live Garment Transfer technology which has been under development by Snapchat for several years by the organization’s research team is also available for developers to test the feature using Lens studio.
In addition, Snap Map will feature curated stories on how fans all over the world are watching the action in Qatar.
Users across the US also stand chances to win cash prizes for creating top performing snaps using lenses and sounds by enrolling in the #TrickShotChamp.
