Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud scored the only goal of the game today between the Gunners and Newcastle United at St James’ Park to ensure that Arsenal finishes the 2013 year as top of the Premier League table.
In a closely fought match where both sides cancelled each other out, the difference was the Giroud header from a Theo Walcott pass into the box.
Arsenal now sit on top of the Premier League table, just one point ahead of Manchester City.
